With Saint Patricks day approaching us, make sure to head down to Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann” or “St Patrick’s Day” in Mullingar
This year they will be running a fantastic tractor run parade with plenty of prizes to be won
All proceeds go to Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann Mullingar 2022
Spectators are welcome along the route for a great day out there will be loads of prizes to be won
The Athlone St. Patrick’s Day Parade will start at 2.30pm from from Shamrock Lodge Hotel heading eastwards. The Viewing Stand will be located at St. Peter’s Square.
There is a special focus on free children’s entertainment this year with free entertainment for youngsters in the Civic Square sponsored by Athlone Town Council and music on the streets before, during and after the parade.
The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place in Tullamore on 17 March, starting at 11.30 am. The Parade lasts for approx one and a half hours.
The Parade is a fun event with over 1500 participants and approx 10,000 spectators. Loads of colour, entertainment and fun. The Tullamore Gospel Choir will perform prior to the Parade and this will provide entertainment for those waiting for the parade.They will be located on the bridge beside the Bridge House.
